We're looking for a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to join our Finance team. To join our team, you should be excited to

• Ensure day-to-day transactions such as accounts payable, cash receipts and accounts receivable, credit card transactions, and payroll are recorded properly 
• Perform timely and accurate month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., net assets, investments, revenue, expenses, payroll allocations, etc.), ensuring that accounting schedules are updated and accurate  
• Ensure proper revenue and expense recognition 
• Ensure all finance and accounting operations comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and federal and state laws and regulations 
• Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries 
• Summarise financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other documents 
• Support and oversee tax audits (both internal and external) and tax returns
