The Role
We're looking for a Experienced Accountant (m/f/d) to join our Finance team. In your day-to-day work, you'll focus on managing pre-accounting, financial statements, and cash flow analysis while ensuring compliance with HGB standards. To join our team, you should be excited to
  • Manage pre-accounting by recording and processing financial transactions with the Spend Management tool to support bookkeeping. While the core bookkeeping tasks are managed by the external tax office, you oversee the process and ensure smooth cooperation
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual financial statements and work closely with the external tax office to coordinate, review, and finalise financial reports
  • Handle customer invoicing, review and maintain payment records, monitor overdue accounts, and initiate collection procedures as needed
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and financial regulations while tracking, analysing, and reporting plan/actual variances
  • Monitor financial performance to ensure revenue and profitability targets are met within agreed spending limits
  • Analyse cash flow using Agicap, prepare liquidity planning reports, and provide management with cash balance and cash flow updates
  • Assist with financial reporting and tax-related matters as required
Your Profile
  • Several years of experience as an accountant, preferably in a fast-growing environment
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and bookkeeping principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with financial tools is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on, structured, and organized work approach
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects and processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Fluency in German and English is required
