Production Lead (m/f/d)

The Role

We are looking for a motivated Production Lead (m/f/d) to take charge of our growing manufacturing team and ensure that our unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) are built to the highest standards – on time, on budget, and ready for mission-critical deployment. You will coordinate daily operations on the shop floor, manage production schedules, and guide our technicians through assembly, testing, and troubleshooting. This role requires a hands-on leader with technical understanding, a sense of structure, and a proactive mindset.

Lead, coordinate, and supervise the production team
Monitor and ensure adherence to production plans, quality, and safety standards
Support and participate in the assembly and commissioning of systems
Identify bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and continuously improve production processes
Interface with engineering, logistics, and procurement to ensure smooth operations
Train new staff and ensure technical instructions are followed
Document production status and maintain transparency through ERP and reporting tools

Your Profile

Completed vocational training in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; master technician or technician certification is a plus
Several years of hands-on experience in production or assembly
Leadership experience in a workshop or production environment
Solid understanding of mechanical and/or electronic systems
Structured, solution-oriented mindset and high attention to detail
Proficient in using MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
Excellent communication skills with business fluency in both German and English.

Die Rolle

Als Produktionsleiter übernimmst du die Verantwortung für unser wachsendes Fertigungsteam. Du sorgst dafür, dass unsere unbemannten Bodendrohnen (UGVs) termingerecht, effizient und in hoher Qualität produziert werden. Dabei leitest du die tägliche Produktion, koordinierst dein Team und stellst sicher, dass Montage, Inbetriebnahme und Tests reibungslos ablaufen.
Wir suchen eine Führungspersönlichkeit mit technischem Verständnis, klarer Struktur und Hands-on-Mentalität.
Deine Aufgaben

Fachliche Führung und Koordination des Produktionsteams
Sicherstellung der termingerechten, qualitäts- und sicherheitskonformen Fertigung
Mitarbeit bei der Montage, Inbetriebnahme und Fehlersuche
Optimierung von Arbeitsabläufen und Produktionsprozessen
Schnittstelle zu Entwicklung, Einkauf und Logistik
Einarbeitung neuer Mitarbeitender und Einhaltung technischer Vorgaben
Dokumentation und Statusberichte über ERP- und Reportingsysteme

Das sollte dich begeistern

Abgeschlossene Ausbildung im Bereich Mechatronik, Mechanik oder Elektrotechnik
Weiterbildung zum Techniker oder Meister von Vorteil
Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Produktion oder im Montagebereich
Erste Führungserfahrung im Produktionsumfeld
Technisches Verständnis für mechanische und/oder elektronische Systeme
Strukturierte, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise mit hoher Genauigkeit
Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse, Englisch mindestens B2
Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office und ERP-Systemen (z. B. SAP)
