Your Mission
As a (Senior) Cyber Security System Engineer (m/f/d), you will be part of the Safety & Mission Assurance team and design and implement security concepts that seamlessly integrate with our RAMS-driven system frameworks. You will work closely with Systems, Software, Hardware, and Safety Engineering to ensure that cyber protection, functional safety, and system performance go hand in hand.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the Cyber Security Architecture for ARX UGV systems.
- Conduct Threat and Risk Analyses (TARA) according to IEC 62443, ISO/SAE 21434, and relevant defense standards including NATO STANAG 4774/4778, NATO FMN Cybersecurity Profiles, AEP-4754, MIL-STD-461, and DEF STAN frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with the Security department, connecting product-level OT/IT processes with information, physical, and IT security domains under the NATO Security Policy Framework.
- Define security requirements, traceability, and verification methods within the system V-model.
- Support secure-by-design development and evaluate hardware/software interfaces for vulnerabilities.
- Work with the Safety & Mission Assurance function to ensure coherent treatment of system risks (Safety + Security = Integrated Assurance).
- Prepare and maintain compliance documentation for dual-use and military accreditation (e.g., EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230, Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), NIS-2 Directive, NATO AEP-4754, MIL-STD-882E).
- Coordinate penetration testing, supplier assessments, and validation activities.
- Contribute to the development of internal cybersecurity standards, processes, and governance.
