The Role
As a Senior Technical Program Manager (m/f/d), you will lead cross-functional programs that transform advanced autonomy, perception systems, and ruggedized hardware into operational capabilities for defense applications. From concept through integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment, you will be responsible for driving technical execution and ensuring successful program delivery across complex, multi-disciplinary teams.
Our solutions integrate cutting-edge sensors, autonomy software, and embedded systems to modernize and upgrade military platforms. In this role, you will coordinate closely with engineering, product, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer teams to deliver high-impact results in challenging defense environments.
Key Responsibilites- Own the full program lifecycle by driving planning, multi-phase roadmaps, and gated milestones across design, development, integration, flight and field testing, production, and sustainment
- Ensure reliable execution through effective management of integrated master schedules, budgets, dependencies, and critical paths while proactively resolving blockers and adapting to changes
- Lead execution across cross-functional teams including autonomy software, embedded systems, perception, avionics, mechatronics, hardware, and manufacturing, ensuring alignment between internal teams and external vendors
- Translate mission needs into clear technical direction by capturing customer and operational requirements, defining success criteria, and ensuring verification, validation, and acceptance processes are well-defined
- Facilitate core program activities such as increment planning, risk reviews, estimates at completion (EACs), change control boards, and executive updates, maintaining concise and action-oriented communication
- Proactively manage risk by identifying potential issues across technical, schedule, supply chain, regulatory, and deployment areas, maintaining an up-to-date risk register with clear mitigations and triggers
- Oversee testing and deployment efforts by planning lab evaluations, range events, and on-site customer tests, then synthesizing results into actionable decisions and next-phase planning
