Lead Key Account Manager (m/f/d)

The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Lead Key Account Manager (m/f/d) with a strong track record in building and expanding key customer relationships within the defense sector

To join our team, you should be excited to:
  • Lead and develop key customer relationships within the defense sector, including both industrial and governmental partners
  • Execute strategic account plans aligned with long-term customer objectives
  • Identification and realisation of cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across the product and service portfolio
  • Experience managing R&D projects involving both software and hardware components
  • Close collaboration with internal teams (e.g., Product Management, Marketing, Service) to ensure seamless and customer-centric delivery
  • Conducting market and competitive analyses to derive actionable strategic recommendations
  • Regular reporting to the Head of Sales Operations on account status, customer developments, and sales potential
Your Profile
  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in sales, ideally with a focus on key account management
  • Demonstrated success in managing major customers and developing long-term strategic relationships, preferably within the defense sector
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Military background is a strong plus
Good to have skills:
  • Entrepreneurial mindset paired with strong analytical and goal-oriented working style
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken German and English
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
