Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of our modular UGV robotic platforms at customer sites, test ranges, and field deployments
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues — especially under harsh operational conditions
  • Integrate new hardware modules, payloads, sensors, communication systems, and battery components into existing robotic platforms
  • Handle and maintain high-voltage battery systems, including safety procedures, swapping, troubleshooting, and working with BMS and charging systems
  • Set up and validate system interfaces (e.g., CAN, EtherCAT, Ethernet, serial communication)
  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to report field findings, propose improvements, and implement updates
  • Create service and maintenance documentation, test protocols, and field reports
  • Conduct technical training for customers, partners, and field teams on system operation and maintenance
Your Profile
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related technical field — or a strong technical apprenticeship with relevant hands-on experience
  • Professional experience in field service, robotics, vehicle systems, machinery, or technical support roles
  • Solid understanding of high-voltage battery systems (Li-ion, LiFePO₄), battery management systems (BMS), and relevant safety regulations
  • Strong skills in electrical/electronic troubleshooting, wiring, connectors, and communication protocols
  • Hands-on mechanical ability and experience working with tools, assemblies, and repairs in demanding environments
  • Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally across the EU
  • Fluent in English; German skills are a plus
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset and ability to work independently in field operations
Benefits and Perks
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • A shaping role in an emerging dual use company
  • Opportunity to work with a highly innovative, international, and dynamic team
  • Room for professional growth and development
  • Participation in the company's success, with access to regular events, knowledge exchange and meetups
