Security Manager (m/f/d)

The Role

We are looking for a Security Manager (m/f/d) to establish, implement, and continuously improve physical, organizational, and operational security across our sites. You ensure that people, facilities, information, and assets are protected in line with regulatory, customer, and defense-industry requirements. 

Your Responsibilities 

  • Develop, implement, andmaintainphysical security concepts for offices, production areas, test facilities, and sensitive zones
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations relevant todefense, critical infrastructure, and industrial environments
  • Manage access control systems, visitor processes, badge management, and security zones
  • Conduct security risk assessments, audits, and incident analyses, and define mitigation measures
  • Act as the main point of contact for security-related topics with internal stakeholders, authorities, customers, and external security providers
  • Define and enforce security policies, procedures, and awareness measures for employees and contractors
  • Coordinate and oversee external security service providers
  • Support security requirements for customer projects, audits, and certifications
  • Prepare and maintain security documentation, reports, and incident records
Your Profile
  • Degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience 
  • Several years of experience in physical security, corporate security, or site security, ideally in regulated or defense-related environments 
  • Strong understanding of access control, surveillance systems, security processes, and risk management 
  • Experience working with authorities, auditors, and external security providers 
  • Structured, reliable, and discreet working style with high integrity 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to enforce policies in a pragmatic manner 
  • Fluent in English; German is required
